The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) High Assurance cryptographic evaluation is a verification and validation program that ensures that no cryptographic vulnerabilities exist. The High Assurance evaluation tests the security capabilities outside the encryption technology. This evaluation and subsequent certification enables Australian government agencies to rely on the strength and quality of the cryptographic and anti-tamper security they use to protect official classified information and systems.
The SDV-HA was awarded High Assurance certification by ASD in 2013.
ASD has more recently re-evaluated the SDV-HA and issued an Approval for Use (see ref: ASD/51978/2022) on 20th June, 2022.
